Privacy at AFINARA
AFINARA is operated by Afinara Management Services FZ-LLC, a company registered in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates.
This notice explains what information is processed when you use this website and the choices and rights available to you. We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary to operate the website and provide the features you choose to use.
When you visit the website
When you visit afinara.com, technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages and timestamps may be processed to deliver, operate and protect the website.
The website is hosted using Netlify.
Analytics
We use Umami for limited website analytics, such as understanding which parts of the website are used and whether visitors start or complete the interactive assessment.
Our analytics configuration does not use advertising or marketing cookies or intentionally store a persistent visitor identifier in your browser. Assessment answers, optional context and generated readouts are not sent to Umami.
Umami is configured for AFINARA in its European Union data region.
What is holding you back?
The “What is holding you back?” assessment is optional. Your answers, and any optional context you provide, are processed to generate your readout.
You do not need to provide your name, email address or other contact details to use the assessment. Please do not include personal or confidential information in the optional context field.
The assessment may use AI to help generate a contextual readout. If AI processing is unavailable, a readout can still be generated without it.
AI processing
We use OpenAI through Netlify’s AI infrastructure for AI-enabled features on the website. Information needed to provide the feature you choose to use may therefore be processed by these providers.
OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default. Under its standard API data controls, certain API content may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.
Security
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect AI-enabled features against automated or abusive use. In doing so, Cloudflare may process technical information about your browser, device and interaction with the website.
Cookies and browser storage
AFINARA does not currently use advertising or marketing cookies. Our current Umami analytics configuration is also designed to operate without cookies or persistent browser identifiers.
If our use of these technologies changes in a way that requires additional notice or consent, we will update this information accordingly.
Contacting AFINARA
If you contact AFINARA by email, we process the information you provide so that we can respond to and follow up on your message.
The assessment does not automatically send your answers, readout or contact details to AFINARA. If you choose to discuss the result with us, you decide what information to send.
Service providers and international processing
AFINARA is based in the United Arab Emirates and uses specialist service providers to operate this website, including Netlify, Umami, Cloudflare and OpenAI.
These providers may process information in jurisdictions other than your own. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the relevant requirements apply.
How long information is kept
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was processed or where retention is required for legal, security or operational reasons.
AFINARA does not intentionally maintain a database of assessment answers or optional assessment context. Service providers may retain limited information according to their applicable service configurations and retention periods.
If you contact AFINARA directly, correspondence may be retained as reasonably necessary to manage the enquiry or relationship and related legal requirements.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights relating to your personal data, including rights to information, access, correction, deletion or restriction, and objection to certain processing.
AFINARA is established in the United Arab Emirates and processes personal data in accordance with applicable UAE data-protection requirements. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation or another data-protection regime applies, the corresponding rights and safeguards also apply.
